We at avrupa care deeply about quality and customer satisfaction. Below you will find all relevant information about your right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) and our return and refund conditions when purchasing from our online store.

1. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers (EU & UK Customers)

If you are a consumer (i.e. a natural person acting for purposes outside your trade, business or profession), you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire 14 days from the day on which you or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier) acquires physical possession of the goods.

by means of a clear statement (e.g. email or letter) of your decision to withdraw from the contract. You may use the Refund Request Form provided below, which we require you to fill out and submit by email.

Additionally, please print the completed form and include it inside the return package.

2. Effects of Withdrawal and Refund Procedure

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments received from you, excluding the shipping costs, unless the item was faulty or damaged upon arrival.

Additional shipping costs incurred due to a non-standard delivery option chosen by you will not be refunded.

We will process refunds only after the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved by our returns team. Please note the following refund process:


  1. Return & Inspection: Once your return package arrives at our facility, it will undergo a thorough inspection by our packaging and quality control team to check for any signs of wear, use, or damage.

  2. Approval Stage: If the item meets our return conditions, the return will be approved by our returns department.

  3. Processing Time: This inspection and approval process may take up to 2–4 weeks from the date we receive your return.

  4. Refund Initiation: Once the return has been approved, the case will be forwarded to our accounting department, which will then initiate the refund process with our bank.

  5. Transfer Timeline: The refund amount will be transferred to your original payment method within 14 days after the bank refund process has been initiated.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back and the inspection process has been completed.

3. Exclusions of the Right of Withdrawal – Pre-Orders & Customised Items

⚠️ Important: The right of withdrawal does not apply to certain types of goods.

According to:


  • Section 312g (2) No. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB)

  • Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU

  • Regulation 28(1)(b) of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

there is no statutory right of withdrawal for goods that are made to order, custom-made, or clearly personalised, as such items are not suitable for return due to their individual nature.

This includes in particular:


  • Pre-Order products: Items that are specifically produced after your order is placed and not held as regular stock.

  • Customised or personalised items: Products individually tailored to your specifications, such as custom prints, personalised designs, or made-to-measure sizes.

If a pre-order item is produced individually for you and not part of our standard inventory, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply.

4. Returns from Outside the EU and the UK

For orders placed from outside the European Union or the United Kingdom, the above return and withdrawal conditions generally apply. However, please note that additional shipping costs, customs duties, or import fees may apply for returns from abroad, and these must be covered by you.

We strongly recommend using tracked and insured shipping for international returns.

5. Faulty or Damaged Items

If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with photos and a description of the issue:

  • All purchases are final and non-refundable, as each item is custom-made for you.
  • Production and shipping time: approximately 5–8 weeks, depending on the order date and production schedule.
  • Applies to Germany, EU, UK, and Switzerland.
  • You will receive regular email updates regarding the production and shipping status of your order.
